These "LIDO" instruments are "FOG FREE," meaning that a very
special coating on the inside of the glass prevents condensation
The instruments have a polished stainless-steel bezel, white
dial with black numerals and scale, and a black pointer with a
bright red dot
Very low-profile design, with the glass flush with the bezel
On slanted dashboards, water cannot remain standing in the
bezel
The illumination is very good: from the rear through the transparent
dial and from around the bezel

All instruments are equipped with a temperature-compensation resistor
to ensure an accurate display under all conditions
Teleflex-Morse® instruments do not have "zero return" magnets; the pointers
move to "zero" after the ignition has been switched on. This
provides maximum accuracy across the entire range
protected against reversed polarity and overvoltage
